Current Projects in Motion
Staff Cabin Renovation
Status: In Progress
Goal: Gut and rebuild the staff cabin to make it clean, safe, and livable for summer teams and retreat leaders.
Latest Update:
Bunks have been fully removed
Labor has been generously donated to help update the staff cabin
Exploring options to replace bathroom fixtures and finishes
A tile contact has been secured for future work
Next Steps:
Finalize bathroom replacement plan
Coordinate donated labor and materials
Continue renovations as winter access and scheduling allow
Mattress Replacement
Status: Under Review
Goal: Ensure campers and staff have safe, comfortable mattresses.

Reviewing where mattresses have been sourced in the past
Noting issues that arose during the previous summer season
Next Steps:
Finalize bathroom replacement plan
Coordinate donated labor and materials
Continue renovations as winter access and scheduling allow
Boys Bathroom Rebuild
Status: Planning Phase
Goal: Replace aging, deteriorating restroom facilities with a clean, modern bathroom that meets safety standards.

Permits are currently pending from the plumber
Infrastructure planning is underway in preparation for spring work
Next Steps:
Receive permit approval
Confirm spring construction timeline
Begin work as funds and permits allow
Tree & Grounds Maintenance
Status: Ongoing
Goal: Maintain safe and healthy grounds throughout camp.

Additional trees have been removed along the riverbank behind the chapel
Next Steps:
Continue monitoring tree health and erosion areas
Address future removals as needed for safety
Rec Hall Restoration
Status: Early Stages
Goal: Restore and repurpose the Rec Hall so it can be used for teaching, activities, and community gatherings.
Latest Update:
Initial assessment confirms insulation removal and general cleaning are needed
Next Steps:
Continue planning and permitting
