Even as you enter Rock River Bible Camp, you will sense that you are coming into a special place set apart for spiritual growth and nurture. From the green pastures to the wooded hills and serene riverfront, you will be drawn to God, the Maker of heaven and earth. Our hope is that many children, youth and adults will come to know God and His Son, Jesus Christ, personally and intimately through their experience of the camping ministry of RRBC. Located on the Rock River just northeast of Dixon, IL, Rock River Bible Camp is nestled on approximately 26 acres of wooded land. The camp facility can accommodate over 100 campers and staff comfortably between the months of May and October. Directions

Ten rustic cabins are available for overnight use. Each cabin sleeps 10 people comfortably in bunk bed arrangements. Two cabins have connected bathroom facilities and are heated for smaller fall and spring retreats. Restrooms facilities for men and women are easily accessible from the other cabins.

Camp groups use the Dining Hall for all meals served either cafeteria or family style. A restaurant grade kitchen complete with 2 large industrial refrigerators, an eight burner stove with grill and two large ovens, a food sanitizer and ample work space is available for the cook staff. In addition, the Dining Hall can be used for activities such as crafts and table games. Small groups enjoy singing and relaxing around the large brick fireplace at the east end of the facility.

The Pavilion, one of the newest buildings on the campground, is a great space for large group activities, classes and events. In addition, the pavilion houses a well stocked snack bar and a camp store where RRBC T-shirts, caps and other items can be purchased. Just outside the Pavilion, campers can warm themselves in the glowing of a late night bonfire at the fire pit.

A beautiful A-frame chapel accommodates large group meetings and worship. Benches can be rearranged for a variety of seating plans and activities.

Rock River Bible Camp offers numerous recreational opportunities. Campers enjoy basketball, volleyball and large indoor group games in the Recreation Hall. A full sized tennis court is adjacent to the Rec Hall. Campers enjoy outdoor games such as baseball, soccer and kickball in the playing field near the entrance of the camp. The riverfront provides lots of activities for campers including canoeing and boating. Swimming is not allowed in the Rock River. However, fishing is permitted so bring your rod and bait. Younger campers will enjoy the playground area complete with swings, a slide and climbing bars. Trails wind through the wooded portion of the property allowing campers to learn about indigenous wildflowers on leisurely walks. Some campers enjoy searching for deer and other animal tracks or catching toads and frogs.
