* Children going into grade 6 may choose to attend either Junior Camp or Intermediate Camp, but not both.

** After June 1, a $15.00 late fee is added to the Registration Fee. No registrations will be accepted after July 1.

Camp Capacity
Senior Camp has a capacity of 72 campers (36 boys and 36 girls). Registrations are accepted on a first come/first served basis. Final number of campers depends on available staff and beds.

Check In Time
Campers can begin to arrive for their camp on Sunday between 3:00 - 5:00 p.m. Late arrivals are permitted only by pre-arrangement with the Camp Dean. In all cases, the camper must arrive no later than 9:00 a.m. on Tuesday. Those expected to arrive late must pre-pay the entire camping fee. There is no reduction in cost. Senior Campers who drive their own cars will be required to park in the designated parking area and turn all keys over to the Camp Dean.

Check Out Time
Parents are expected to pick up campers at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday. Campers may have clean-up responsibilities to finish before he/she can leave.

Requests for Cabin Assignments
Campers may request a cabin assignment with a friend. However, final cabin assignments will be made by the Camp Dean. Every attempt will be made to honor the request-especially for campers who have never attended Rock River Bible Camp.

Requests to Leave Camp
Requests to leave the camp temporarily should be avoided if possible. Those necessary must be prearranged with the Camp Dean at the time of registration, except in the case of emergency. Campers who leave the camp without permission face disciplinary action.

Visits to the Camp
Parents are welcome to visit the camp, but should arrange the visit with the Camp Dean so as to avoid interruption of the program. All other visitors must receive permission from the Dean prior to arrival.

Telephone Use
Campers are allowed to make calls from the camp only with the permission of the Camp Dean. Calls must be collect or via phone cards. Incoming calls for campers are discouraged.

Insurance
In case of sickness or injury that would require emergency medical attention, the camper's family health insurance is named as the primary insurance.

What You Should Pack
Clothes
You'll want changes for each day, including clothes for wet or messy activities. Also pack something more dressy for a banquet, a swimming suit for water activities, a sweat shirt or jacket for cool evenings. Clothing and swim wear must be modest and writing may not promote unwholesome activity.
Bedding
Bring a sleeping bag or twin sheets and blankets and a pillow
Toiletries
Bring a couple of towels, personal hygiene items, soap, sun block and bug repellent.
Sporting Equipment
Bring your baseball glove, tennis racket and balls, and proper footwear.
Musical Instruments
If you play an instrument, you're welcome to bring it along and share your talent. If you sing with backup tapes, bring those along too.
Bible
Bring your Bible, along with a pen/pencil, notebook.

Please label all items with your name or initials!

What You Shouldn't Pack
You won't need radios/CD players, TV's, cell phones or pagers, hand held computer games, laser pointers or alcohol, tobacco, firearms, fireworks or water guns/balloons.

Camper Snack Bar
Ice cream, pop, candy, and fruit is available for campers to purchase during the week. Snack times are limited to one or two each day with campers permitted one or two items each time. Campers routinely spend no more than $10-12. All money is turned into the camp bank upon registration. Unused money is returned at the end of the week. We cannot be responsible for lost or stolen money not deposited in the camp bank.

Camp Mementos
Shirts and other mementos are available during the registration period and at the close of camp. Shirts average $12.

Disciplinary Action
All campers are expected to abide by the signed Code of Conduct. Violation could result in the camper being removed from camp. This will be done are the parent's expense, and there will be no refund of the camping fees. Willful destruction of camp property will be charged to the camper's parents.

Have more than one child attending camp?
Rock River offers a $15.00 FAMILY DISCOUNT. The first child in every family will pay the full camping fee of $90. All other members of the family will pay only $75 for their camping fee. Every child must pay the $30 non-refundable registration fee. To receive the discount, all registrations must be received together by the June 1 deadline. Primary Camp or Rock River 'U' registrations do not apply toward the family discount.

Too old for one of the weeks of camp?
You can still be involved in a week of camp as a staff member. We need counselors, kitchen staff, custodians, support staff. You may download a staff application HERE. All applicants are required to have a written reference from their pastor. Any adult who works a full week at camp will receive an $90 credit to cover the camping fee of a family member during the same camping season. Please note on the registration form the week you will be working.
